Toronto-based photographer Adam Klekotka visited Niagara Falls earlier this month in freezing temperatures and was amazed by the look of the falls, which were illuminated by color lights that made the scene look like "fire and ice" on a different planet.
They say everything in life happens for a reason and while I didn’t hold much faith in that phrase before, I definitely do now. It took a serious life threatening experience to ignite in me a passion for my own photography as part of the healing process and then turn it into a career.
I know in my heart that I have always loved photography, but the way I stumbled into becoming a photographer is anything but a fairy tale -- in fact, it's quite the opposite.
Niagara Falls is (or rather are) a sight to behold, and while capturing the falls from a boat or one of the overlooks is impressive enough, why not take to the air? That's what YouTube user questpact did, creating the video above using his DJI Phantom quad-copter and GoPro Hero 3.
