What ultimately saves this camera is that sensor. The Canon EOS-1D X sensor is just an amazing sensor that really keeps this camera punching with the big boys, because this was the big boy or big girl from back in 2012.
But to anyone who wants to spend $1,000 or under on a lens like this, and you want to take photos of wildlife, you want to be able to experience how it is to take pictures with a telephoto lens, you're going to be very, very happy with this lens.
