This was such an interesting year for updates. Both software and hardware was a long list of small things checked off and getting better, but the big things were kind of harder to explain.
If you're okay giving up a few features and physical controls, then the S9 makes for a very capable video camera.
I've been extremely impressed with the Panasonic S5 II / IIX, and it's made me not want to use my Canon R5 for video at all; like I dislike it now compared to the Lumix.

The audio and the video quality will be great, so I'm gonna be recommending this camera to a lot of people.
So what do I think of the 5D? Mark IV, well honestly, this is the best camera I've ever worked with for stills.
