The Insta360 Ultra Luna is convenient, powerful, and capable. It is the best vlogging camera I have ever used.
-
The Insta360 Luna Ultra is a fantastic choice for people who want a camera with the scope and versatility to shoot in a variety of ways, all in a fairly compact and easy-to-use package.
-
With side-by-side lenses, the Luna Ultra might look quite cute, but it is an extremely powerful device I found easily able to replace much of the burden I carry on a shoot.
-
The Luna Ultra sets a new standard for cameras built for vlogging and content creation. [...] The Luna Ultra is the first camera in the series, but it's the natural upgrade path for creators who have a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (or older) and are ready to step up to the latest.
-
For a first-generation product with multiple Insta360 firsts, the Luna Ultra is surprisingly polished, and its second lens adds extra shooting versatility. It'll be hard to go back to single-lens vlogging cameras after this.
-
[I]t's Insta360's first foray into a vlogging camera market, which has been dominated by the DJI Pocket series for several years. In that respect, the Luna Ultra feels surprisingly polished.
- Engadget 8.7/10
Insta360 made a great debut into the category and we're all just waiting to see how DJI responds.
-
Hell yeah, Insta360, you killed it with this.
-
The Luna Ultra proves Insta360 can do much more than 360º cameras. Its dual-lens system, impressive zoom capabilities, strong stabilisation and photography-first features make it one of the most versatile pocket cameras available.
-
The Insta360 Luna Ultra is an impressive little camera, despite a few notable flaws. [E]ven with the autofocus issues and lack of motionlapse capability, at time of writing it's the most powerful handheld all-in-one gimbal-camera available.
-
A stunning category debut with gorgeous imagery, clever hardware and impressive real-world performance. Only a broken panorama mode and jerky manual gimbal hold the Luna Ultra back.
-
[...] In general, I've been extremely impressed with the Luna Ultra. It's a considerable step up from previous Insta360 cameras.
-
My recommendation is simple. If you film yourself, travel light, and want telephoto reach in your pocket, buy the Luna Ultra with confidence.
-
As of right now, I feel like this camera is a nominee for camera of the year.
-
It's a suprer-versatile gimbal camera you can use for more than just vlogging. You still may be better off with something cheaper.
-
After using the Luna Ultra for the past month, I can honestly say this is one of the most interesting cameras I’ve used in a long time. [...] What keeps impressing me is how thoughtfully this camera is designed for people who actually create content.
-
[T]his Luna Ultra is the best pocket camera I've ever used.
-
[I]f you tend to shoot solo and could use the convenience and flexibility of a removable remote, or if you're chasing the highest resolution available in the gimbal form factor, it's hard to go past the Luna Ultra.
-
Whatever the case, the first real alternative to the DJI Pocket is here, and it has exceeded all my expectations. This is the rare “copycat product” to not only offer better specs, but new ingenious features that outclass the original.
-
I think for content creators, this is a brilliant option. If you're going away on vacation, you want to take a camera with you, this is a fantastic choice.
-
Insta360 enters entirely new territory with the Luna Ultra. [...] Given the Luna Ultra’s specs sheet and my all-too-short time with it, I expect that in the world of vlogging gimbal cameras, Insta360 is here to stay.
-
With the Luna Ultra though, it finally feels like I'm getting something much closer to the image quality that I really like from something like the Canon PowerShot V1, but in a compact, easy to use gimbal camera.
