Reviewer Consensus

Strong

The DJI Lito 1 is a compact, sub-250g drone that provides beginners with advanced safety features like omnidirectional obstacle sensing and reliable O4 transmission. While it offers impressive 4K video quality and flight performance at a competitive price, the small sensor shows its limitations in low-light conditions and lacks advanced professional color profiles.

I think both Lighter one and X1 make perfect sense for beginners and firsttime aerial creators because even though they are the most affordable drones in DJI's lineup, they now have the full obstacle sensing.

  • Digital Camera World

The DJI Lito 1 (and its premium sibling, the Lito X1) are both cheap drones with features that make them hard to crash (collision sensors) and easy to shoot with (AI subject tracking).

Despite having a small sensor, the DJI Lito 1 produces impressive image quality and offers sports features and functionality you’d expect in a more expensive drone.

The DJI Lito 1 is a stunning little drone that punches way above its bargain price point.

If you've been asking yourself, "What drone should I buy as a beginner?" DJI has basically answered that question to you. That's the right choice, in my opinion.

Otherwise, for a beginner, this seems like a really good entry point. When compared to the Mini 4K, it brings a lot of the needed upgrades and improvements, making the core drone tech available at a cheaper price.

[A]s someone who owns a DJI Mavic 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, and basically every DJI drone that's been released up until now, I actually am very impressed by the quality of this thing.
