Olivia Wilde Made This Edward Sharpe Music Video Using an iPhone

The band Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros just released this music video for their new single “No Love Like Yours.” Here’s what’s neat about it: it was created by actress Olivia Wilde using just the iPhone 6S Plus.

Assisted by Director of Photography Reed Morano (the cinematographer behind a host of HBO shows) and Second Director of Photography David Darg (the co-foudner of RYOT Media), Wilde decided to go with using the iPhone’s camera for 100% of the production.

The iPhone may not have a very big sensor, but 4K was introduced in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Some directors are incorporating it into their projects as a way to shoot certain scenes quickly and without having to deal with the headache of huge rigs and large productions.
