Want to give the LCD screen on your digital camera a super tough layer of protection? The company Phantom Glass announced earlier this month that it has extended its tempered glass screen protector products to the world of digital cameras. It’s touted as “the last screen protector you’ll ever need” for your camera.

The new Phantom Glass screen protectors are available for a number of DSLR, mirrorless, and compact cameras for brands such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Leica. You can find the full list of supported cameras here.

Each protector is made using Corning’s Gorilla Glass technology, which makes your screen impervious to scratches and resistant to many impacts that might otherwise cause damage.

It uses a “nano-adhesion layer” to make installation a breeze — Phantom Glass says you can install the protector on your screen in less than 30 seconds.

The screen protector is also treated with a non-coating that’s resistant to fingerprints and residues, and it is 100% clear, meaning the photos you see while chimping will look just the same as if you didn’t have a protector on.

Here’s a short video introduction to Phantom Glass:

If you’re interested in picking one up for yourself, Phantom Glass camera screen protectors can be purchased from a long list of retailers or directly from the company’s online store. Each protector costs $35 CAD, or about $26 USD.
