For those of you using Google Chrome as your main browser, here’s a neat little trick to help create a custom Chrome search for all your favorite photo sharing sites.

Google Chrome has long had Omnibox, an all-in-one search engine and URL bar at the top. Omnibox allows you to quickly search and enter URLs, without the hassle. It also allows you to create a site-specific search within Chrome’s preference menu.

What you may not know though is that Chrome makes it even easier, letting you add a site-specific search to your Omnibox with nothing more than a right click. Simply visit the site you’re wanting to add as a search engine, right click the search box and choose “Add as a Search Engine.”

Once you’ve done that, you can use Omnibox’s site-specific search to easily search almost any photography website with the help of a keyword. Quick, effective and helpful results, all at your fingertips more easily than ever before.
