Special Effects Artist Uses VFX to Turn His 3-Year-Old Into ‘Action Movie Kid’

What happens when you combine the imagination of a three-year-old with the talents of a father who is a special effects artist? You get “Action Movie Kid”, a great example of when a talented visual artist uses his skills to make his kid feel awesome.

From a Nerf gun turned into a living room grappling gun, to a game of “Lava” made much more realistic, this candidate for Father of The Year turns his son’s daily activities into adventures Michael Bay would be proud of… well, maybe not Michael Bay, but we sure think he’s awesome.

Just so you know, Visual Effects Artists are easily offended by people referring to them as Special Effects Artists ;-)

How about Special Needs Visual Effects Artist?

These are really cute. As a parent of a three-year-old, the puddle one was momentarily horrifying though.
