Sony’s Artsy New Breakdown Video Shows What All is Inside the QX100 Lens Camera

We’re not entirely sure what Sony was trying to do with this video, but we find ourselves sort of entranced by it. In two minutes, it captures the design and assembly process behind the company’s interesting QX100 lens camera, giving us a glimpse at the inner workings of the smartphone photography add-on.

[The video] serve[s] as a countdown clock in anticipation of what [is] to come. An idea can start from a single line and from there, it grows, changes and expands until it’s made real. In this case, it’s Sony’s QX100 lens-style camera coming to life.

    As we zoomed in on the camera lens in the final seconds, they should have had the camera take a picture at us, maybe with a flash. That could have been the money-shot payoff for the dreary symphony they dragged us thru.
