Giant Picture Frame Doubles as a Table

Verena Lang of Ivy Design came up with this brilliant idea of a table that conveniently folds up into a giant picture frame when it isn’t needed. They’re built out of wood, plexiglass, and stainless steel, and cost about $2,200 on the Ivy Design site. Of course, you could always try your hand at building your own!

It finally happened, a triple via. ┬áIt should’ve been a quad via though, because Lifehacker lists the article as Via Make.

Instead of a picture frame, I am going to insert a 42″ (or bigger) LCD panel so when not in use, I can have a slide-show playing! I should patent that right now! ;)

Fine, as long as none of your dinner guests leave their chewing gum under the table…and on top of your art!

Does it come with the giant hooks to hold it up?

More confusingly, Make lists the article as being via DVICE
