Creative Mock Macbook Air Ad Shot with the Canon 5D Mark II

 

Film student Zach King and his sister made this creative mock commercial for the Macbook Air using a Canon 5D Mark II, some string and a lot of imagination.

    I’d be leaning toward After Effects but it’s hard to tell because the interfaces are similar

    Looks like they used after effects, and some rotoscoping. Not bad, could have been a little smoother with the floating, and they need learn about audio – its very important in video projects… there’s bad location audio on the interview (use a sep boom mic and field recorder, sync up the audio in post, dont use a camera mounted mic — too much room ambience).  Music loop edits were rough! – tighten up the edit points. But overall a good little project.
