Life as a Photographer on Capitol Hill

We’ve already featured a video showing what life is like as President Obama’s official photographer, and now here’s an interesting behind-the-scenes video that gives us a look into shooting on Capitol Hill.

Every time I see the shots of press photographers or paparazzi sitting with their legs folded with their laptops out trying feverishly to get that shot to the publication before the guy next to him, I shake my head and remind myself what a sad ‘microwave society’ we have become. When is the last time you think any of the people in that video sat [or stood] and actually ‘looked’ at a photograph?
