Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how Annie Leibovitz went about shooting Kirsten Dunst as Marie Antoinette for Vogue magazine. Back in August 2010 we also shared a video of Leibovitz shooting Sean Connery for Louis Vuitton.

I saw the Annie Leibovitz exhibition in Sydney recently. Amazing portraits, but don’t think her landscapes worked that well.
She does world class work, but what I’m really amazed by is how she managed to get into a staggering amount of debt.
Debts and landscapes aside, its her rapport with her subjects and models that I’m drawn to.
While her work is beautiful and whimsical in many ways… I don’t think I would ever want to pay the debts she owes. That aside I do enjoy her work.
