In my early years of photography, I was very concerned with making "ART." Each time I would pick up a camera I would be filled with anxiety, thinking that I need to bring home that "picture of the century." I have to tell you, I seldom did.
"In Anxious Anticipation" is a photo project that's designed to make you feel anxiety and apprehension. Each photo shows something bad on the brink of happening.
"Look at me," he said. Complying, I turned in the man's direction. "Look me in the eyes!"... I tried to raise my eyes and look into his, but I couldn't. Actually, I couldn't look anyone in the eyes at that point, it felt weird and uncomfortable. That man... was my own older brother.
