Giving Away a Think Tank Photo Airport Security Camera Bag

If you need a way to protect your camera gear while on the move, then this giveaway is for you.

We’re giving away a Think Tank Photo Airport Security V 2.0 rolling camera bag worth $369.

This camera bag meets USA airline carry on size requirements, and has TSA approved combination locks. The front and back of the bag each contain a security cable and lock that allows you to lock the bag to both a laptop bag and an immovable object for when you need to leave the bag unattended.

Like our previous giveaway, this one will be automated and done completely through Thawnos for transparency. All you need to do is sign into the app using your Twitter account and post a tweet through the app containing the link provided (which points to this post). That’s it!

You can enter the giveaway by clicking here or through the widget below:

The giveaway ends in 2 days on Wednesday, and the winner will be randomly and automatically selected by Thawnos. Good luck!

Update: This giveaway is open to international readers as well.

A big thanks to Think Tank Photo for providing the bag for this giveaway!

I've got a gazillion bags (haven't we all?) but this one looks totally sweet for air travel.

Has anyone else used this site (#Thawnos) for online giveaways? How successful has it been?

  • http://www.petapixel.com Michael Zhang

Actually, it's an application that I developed myself.

Prior to using Thawnos, the Twitter giveaways we did were automated but not publicly displayed in terms of who entered and which tweets were counted. The winner was also randomly selected using random.org, but done by hand.

With Thawnos, the random selection still uses random.org but is done automatically and immediately as soon as the giveaway is over.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

how safe is this thawnos? it says it will be able to login in my account in the future… this doesnt seem right to me! is there any other way?

  • http://www.petapixel.com Michael Zhang

    Hi Wilson,

The write permission is used only to publish the tweet posted through the account. It's the same permission you give any service that allows you to publish tweets through it (i.e. TweetDeck, WeFollow, etc…)

I can guarantee the app is safe since I'm the one that developed it and run it, but feel free to revoke access to the app once the giveaway is over if you choose the participate.
