Extreme Determination is the Secret to Being a Great Photographer

Here’s a new 11-minute video in which Ted Forbes of The Art of Photography discusses how all the greatest and most successful photographers he has met through the years have shared one “secret” in common: “extreme determination.”

“Inside of that extreme determination is a seed of self-motivation that operates on a very high level as well,” Forbes says. “This is the secret to being a great photographer. […] This is the common thread that I’ve seen in all the photographers that I’ve had the utmost pleasure to work with.

“I’ve worked with some of the best of the best, and that’s one thing that I’ve gotten the sense of in talking to them: they’re all determined.”
