Humor: How to Take Cliché Yoga Photos for Instagram

Ah, the Instagram #yoga hashtag. As of this writing, there are over 20 million posts hashtagged #yoga on Instagram, and this creative spoof describes/pokes fun of a good 50% of them.

Created by JP Sears of “If Meateaters Acted Like Vegans” fame in association with Yoga Photographer Brian Crawford, the video takes on all of the most stereotypical or ridiculous yoga photography trends—from those majestic sunset poses on sharp rocks to the dangerous pose on a dangerous cliff because, as he puts it in the video, “if there’s not at least a 50% chance that you’re gonna die in your yoga photo setup, then you have no business putting that picture on Instagram!”
