Studio Binder Lets Photographers Send and Track Call Times with Ease

header1

Studio Binder is a new service that’s designed to help photographers and filmmakers send and track call times with their cast and crew. The service is designed to take the pain out of making sure everyone shows up at the right time and in the right place for a shoot.

Here’s a short promo video showing how the service works:

To get started, you need to invite a team and build up a digital roster with the profiles of everyone involved in your project. The individual profiles allow the participants to provide you with all the info you need about/from them — things like credited names, dietary requirements, payment info, and more.

Profiles also make things easier if you often work with the same people. Instead of gathering details every time, you’ll always have info you need on hand.

Call times can be sent out via email or text messaging with a few simple clicks. You can also add personalized messages if you need to give out special instructions to certain people.

Once call times have been sent out, you can track and confirm them through the digital call sheet. When each person confirms their call time with the click of a button, their row in the sheet is marked as “confirmed.”

Studio Binder is currently in pre-launch mode, but the company tells us it will be launching the service to the public within the next few weeks (people on the invite list will have priority access). Pricing has yet to be announced, but we’re told Studio Binder will be a freemium service. Photographers will be able to use the fundamental service for free but can pay for additional features.
