Android Shooters Can Now Auto-Beam Their Photos to the Amazon Cloud

It seems like every photography app and update has to do with iOS users, so here’s one for the Android fanboys out there. Amazon’s Cloud Drive Photos app — which went live last November — just got an update, complete with several much-requested features.

According to Amazon, “the most requested” of these is the ability to auto-save. Once you enable the option, photos will automatically sync to the cloud — a previously absent feature that many competing apps already offered. Assuming you have the data to handle it, this’ll back up your photos instantly to your Amazon Cloud Drive.

The update also brings a few other features, among them the ability to upload and download multiple files, as well as camera integration for devices using Android 4.0.4 and later. No need for multiple apps, you can snap, save and backup all at once.

You can get your hands on the newest version on Google Play or the Amazon App Store.
