Instacube is a Fancy Digital Picture Frame for Sharing Instagram Photos

Want to enjoy your favorite Instagram feeds through a picture frame on your wall or desk? Instacube is a product designed for you. Created by design group D2M, the Android-powered frame is completely designed around viewing and interacting with Instagram photographs.

The device features a 600×600 LCD touch screen that matches the resolution of full-sized Instagram pictures. Powered by Android OS, the device is activated in three simple steps: plug it in, connect it to the web, and then log in using your Instagram account. It’ll then start displaying your Instagram feeds’ photos live as they’re shared. Don’t have that many friends on the service? You can set it to display photos based on a particular hashtag.

The top of the device has three buttons: power, feed switching, and a heart for “Liking”.

The team is currently looking to raise $250,000 through Kickstarter to bring the product to market. They’re nearly there, as over a thousand people have pledged already. You can preorder one by pledging $150 toward the project.
