Venus Optics has announced it's second "Zero-D" optic in the compact 10mm f/2 for micro four thirds. Weighing just 4.4 ounces and with a 96-degree angle of view, the new lens is an ultra-fast and ultra-wide travel-friendly optic.
Photographer João Burini has published a review of the Laowa Venus 50mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO for micro four thirds after a long time shooting with the lens. He has captured a large number of beautiful images of insects, and calls the lens "the best macro option in micro four thirds."
The Chinese lens manufacturer Venus Optics made quite a splash back in January by announcing the new Venus 60mm f/2.8, the world's first 2:1 macro lens with infinity focus. The lens has gotten some pretty positive reviews since then.
Now Venus is back with another groundbreaking lens. Today the company unveiled its new Laowa 15mm f/4 lens, the world's widest 1:1 macro lens.
