Fujifilm is following Kodak's lead and warning photographers about the new CT scanners being used at many US Airports starting this year. In a notice posted to the Fujifilm website, the company says the new scanners "may provide more damaging to unprocessed film and Instax film than previous generations."
About a year ago, Levi Bettwieser of the Rescued Film Project won about 20 auctions for the undeveloped work of a 1950s photographer. What he received was 66 bundles of film containing a staggering 1,200 unprocessed rolls.
Photojournalist Ron Haviv documented international conflicts for years before co-founding the VII photo agency in 2001. While shooting for assignments or personal projects, Haviv would often carry a 2nd or 3rd camera with him, and oftentimes those secondary photos would stay undeveloped.

He recently came across one of his biggest finds so far: 31 undeveloped rolls of film shot by a single soldier during World War II.
Two years ago, photographer Chris A. Hughes purchased a 1914 French Richard Verascope camera (shown above) from an elderly man who was clearing out his camera collection in preparation for retirement. When he got into his car after the purchase, Hughes was surprised to find two packages of slides in the camera's leather case.
Upon closer examination, he discovered that the photographs on the slides were captured by a French soldier during World War I.
