Adobe has announced that it will be pulling the plug on Photoshop Mix and Photoshop Fix, two stripped-down photo-editing apps for mobile devices that Adobe offered until "full" Photoshop was released for the iPad.
Over a year after announcing its Photoshop Fix photo editing app for iOS, Adobe has finally released the same app for Android users.

Back in September, Adobe ate some crow after showing off the new Photoshop Fix, a mobile app that has many of the powerful retouching features of Photoshop. In the demo, an image of a model was used to demonstrate the new “Smile” feature, whereby the user can manipulate the strength of a smile by simply dragging a finger.
After pulling the plug on its Photoshop Touch app back in May, Adobe is now back in the mobile photo editing game. Today the company officially launched Photoshop Fix, the app that was teased months ago and code-named "Project Rigel."
Apple and Adobe sparked some unintended controversy yesterday after unveiling and demonstrating the new iPad Pro. Adobe mobile design director, Eric Snowden, took to the stage and showed off a new app called Adobe Fix, which offers powerful face detection features for mobile photo retouching. This is the mobile Photoshop app that was previously referred to as Project Rigel.
As an example of the app's powers, Snowden showed how the app can easily turn a woman's neutral expression into a smile. The demo drew some chuckles from the audience, but journalists and commentators immediately turned to social media to condemn the demo as sexist.
