Polaroid Originals has unveiled a new "Stranger Things" edition of its OneStep 2 i-Type instant camera. The branding, icons, and text on the camera are all upside down, a nod to the alternate dimension visited in the popular Netflix sci-fi horror series.
As a photographer who still uses film, 2017 feels like the industry is in a bit of a time warp. Kodak is bringing back Ektachrome, Hollywood blockbusters are being shot on film, and apparently the part of Polaroid we care about exists again.
Polaroid is back. Days after teasing a major return to its instant photography roots, Polaroid has just launched Polaroid Originals, a brand new brand dedicated to analog instant photos. Along with the new brand comes a new OneStep 2 camera and the debut of a new film type called i-Type.
