If you've been thinking of swapping out your old DSLR for a more nimble mirrorless camera, but you just don't want to go through the hassle of selling your old kit and raising the necessary funds, Samsung has one hell of a deal for you.

On June 4th between the hours of 12pm and 6pm in Times Square, Samsung will GIVE you an NX30 for free if you're willing to hand over your DSLR (any DSLR) in exchange.

When the Samsung NX30 and Galaxy Camera 2 rang in the New Year as some of the first major announcements of 2014, Samsung declined to reveal detailed pricing or availability info for either shooter. Today, that changes, and one of the cameras is already ready to ship.

You can expect a bunch of camera and gear announcements to go live ahead of CES, and breaking the ice for all of the other companies is Samsung, who today officially released the much rumored and speculated about NX30 Compact System Camera.
