Leica just added a strange very limited edition camera to their M line. It's called the Leica M-P (Typ 240) "Grip," and it's covered in the rubber material you'd usually find on a ping pong paddle.
Leica today announced a new version of the Leica M-P digital rangefinder, and this one is animal themed... The new "Panda Edition" M-P is designed to pay tribute to the panda, a "Chinese National Treasure," Leica says.
Canon will be launching a new high megapixel DSLR sometime in 2015. The camera will reportedly offer a resolution of somewhere around 50 megapixels, and the body shape will not be of the EOS-1 style with a built-in vertical grip.

Using an industrial–strength robotic arm, custom software, a Canon EOS Mark ll and a 180mm macro lens converted into a telecentrical lens, Swiss photographer Daniel Boschung has created an automated portrait machine. Made to map out "Face Cartography", the machine and resulting images capture incredibly detailed and hyperrealistic photographs of subjects.
