As part of the fourth Android 12 beta release which rolled out to Pixel phones last week, an updated version of Google's Android Accessibility Suite shows a way to interact with the device without using the touchscreen. Instead, it can leverage the front-facing camera to read expressions on a face.
The Meural Canvas is a new digital art frame that could be the perfect pairing for the modern-day photographer. It's an interactive, gesture-controlled device. Essentially, it's a giant iPad that hangs on your wall and looks like a traditional picture frame, until the image starts changing of course.
"I get it digital picture frames are dead, uninteresting things that we all tried and left on the wayside with fax machines and 8-track tapes," wrote Aura founder Abdur Chowdhury a few days ago. "But what if they weren’t?"
