This is awesome: Perfect_Tz flew a DJI Phantom 4 Pro camera drone through fireworks in Yunnan, China, reversed some of the footage, and set it to music. What resulted is this mesmerizing 3-minute short film titled, "Fireworks From Above."
Every summer in Japan, there are around 200 separate firework festivals, known as "Hanabi Taikai," which light up the sky in all sorts of colors. Japanese photographer Keisuke spent his time trekking to several of the shows this summer, an effort which allowed him to capture some mesmerizing firework photos.
Just when we thought there was no possible way someone could capture flowers in a fresh and unique way, we stumbled across the work of Craig Burrows. Burrows uses a technique called ultraviolet-induced visible fluorescence (UVIVF) to capture flower photos the likes of which we have never seen before.
Photographer Timothy Joseph Elzinga was woken up by his 2-year-old at 1:30 a.m. last Friday when he noticed what looked like colorful auroras dancing in the night sky. After shooting a beautiful set of photos of what he saw, he learned that it was actually a phenomenon called "light pillars."

Spinning some burning steel wool around on the end of a rope is popular as a way to create dazzling long exposure photographs. It can also be used for dazzling video as well.
Photographer Richie Johnston created the video above by capturing a woman spinning steel wool in a forest and then reversing the footage. It's titled "Ignition Sequences."
Sometimes a great photograph takes months of planning and patience to capture. Other times, you simply have to be in the right place at the right time, with your camera in tow and enough expertise to properly frame and capture an amazing moment. The photo above falls into the second category.
