Apple is adjusting its marketing in the United Kingdom following an investigation by the country's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). The investigation called into question language that Apple used that stated the Pro Display XDR was "far beyond HDR," among other claims.
When Apple unveiled the Pro Display XDR in June of 2019, I'll admit that I drank the cool-aid in big refreshing gulps. From design to execution, I had every reason to believe that this monitor would change the creative landscape, bringing reference displays in a price range attainable by mere mortals. Czech Republic-based photographer Katka Pruskova recently completed her first time-lapse project, and it's quite an impressive effort. Pruskova photographed flowers in front of a black backdrop, using the magic of time-lapse photography to capture them blooming. She shot more than 7100 still photographs using her Canon 5D Mark II over the couse of more than 730 hours.
