It was captured on camera flying right at the drone and using its talons to "punch the drone out of the sky."

Man Attacked by Bison After Taking Up-Close Photo with His iPad

It seems people still aren't learning to keep their distance from wild animals when shooting tourist snapshots. A man was attacked and seriously injured by a bison in Yellowstone National Park yesterday after he tried to take photos of it with his iPad from just 3 to 5 feet away.

‘Attack of the Giant Fingers’ Pays Tribute to the Digits that Invade Our Photos

Somewhere deep in the depths of our archives, it’s inevitable that every single one of us has an image with our finger in it. Whether a family portrait gone bad or an accidental misfire by a stranger helping you take a shot, it seems like our fleshly phalanges have a knack for getting in the way.

To honor these accidents, Erik Kessels has created a photo series and accompanying book titled Attack of the Giant Fingers. As the 13th section of his larger, ongoing collection titled In Almost Every Picture, this series sheds light on the darker days of analogue when you couldn’t ‘chimp’ to see if your finger invaded the frame.

Woman Violently Attacks Photographer on Beach for Using a Quadcopter

Editor's Note: This video contains strong language that is not suitable for viewing at work.

We've seen our fair share of photographers being harassed by people who would rather they not be taking pictures in a public space. Be it a cop or an angry citizen, the worst it typically gets is the photographer being forced (illegally) to delete the photos he or she has taken.

This particular run in, however, goes far, far beyond that as the upset citizen begins violently assaulting the photographer.

With the rise in popularity and drop in price of high speed cameras, more and more incredible footage is getting captured of events our human brain would otherwise be unable to see in such detail.

And today, we have yet another one of those events, the protagonist being a Goshawk and the victim being a water balloon baited with a piece of the soon-to-be-dinner that, we'll be honest, never stood a chance.

It's true: the video above proves it.

Cameraman Captures What It’s Like to Be Targeted as Food by a Polar Bear

If you ever find yourself wondering what it's like to be hunted by a hungry polar bear, just ask filmmaker Gordon Buchanan. While shooting wildlife imagery in Svalbard, Norway for a BBC series titled The Polar Bear Family and Me, Buchanan was approached by a giant 1,000lb, 8-foot-tall polar bear. Luckily for Buchanan, he was in a tiny Plexiglas enclosure. Luckily for the BBC, Buchanan was able to capture the 45-minute ordeal on film.
