Canon made an unusual move in 2017 by announcing the Canon 77D as the first camera in a new line that fits between the 80D and the 800D (AKA the Rebel T7i). Canon just announced two new DSLRs for entry-level photographers: the 77D and the Rebel T7i. Both cameras are touted as having "stunning autofocus capabilities." There's also a new EF-S 18-55mm kit lens and Bluetooth remote.
It seems that Canon will be breaking with tradition for an upcoming camera by releasing an entry-level model number that's not a multiple of 10. A not-yet-announced Canon "77D" has appeared in leaked photos and specs.
