SANDMARC Unveils Hybrid ND/Polarizer Filters for Pro Cameras

SANDMARC has launched a new line of professional grade hybrid lens filters for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The Hybrid Pro Filters combine the company’s ND and Polarizer filters into a single filter.

The ND aspect of the filter lets you shoot longer exposures in bright light while the polarizer aspect lets you darken skies, reduce reflections, and suppress glare on the surface of water.

The Hybrid Pro Filter features multi-coated and anti-reflective glass housed in an aluminum frame, giving it accurate color transmission while keeping it durable and light.

Each filter set comes with three filters: the ND16/PL, ND32/PL, and ND64/PL. This allows you to choose how much light intensity you’d like to reduce based on weather conditions. SANDMARC recommends the three filters be used for cloudy, mildly cloudy, and sunny days, respectively.

Here’s a 1.5-minute video introducing the new filter line:

The filters are offered in 58mm, 67mm, 77mm, and 82mm sizes and cost between $170 for the smallest set and $200 for the largest. Pre-orders can be made through the company’s online store.
