Nikon, Zeiss, and ASML Settle Patent Infringement Dispute –Nikon

Nikon, Carl Zeiss, and ASML have finally settled their years-long patent infringement legal dispute after Nikon lost the first skirmish in court last year. The three companies expect to sign a cross-license agreement, and Zeiss and ASML are agreeing to pay about $171 million to Nikon in the settlement.
