The LA Times interviewed its former photographer Boris Yaro, who captured the iconic photo of Robert F. Kennedy lying on the ground immediately after he was shot by Sirhan Sirhan. Yaro was hit in the face by debris from the revolver and then grabbed the gun to keep it away from the assassin.
