Serbian photographer Dusan Stojancevic has figured out a great way to make his photos of iconic landmarks stand out. Instead of pointing his camera directly at them, he captures the landmarks reflected in water droplets.
For those people who are fed up with constantly wiping water drops off of their lens when shooting in rainy weather, Tokina has a pretty ingenious solution for you: a hydrophilic "rain dispersion filter."
What you see here is artwork showing the rain of Hawaii and Northern California. It's from photographer Klea McKenna's project, "Rain Studies," and shows what rain looks like when you capture it with photo paper and light, rather than a traditional camera.
Dmitriy Yoav Reinshtein is a 26-year-old photographer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He works as an advertising photographer and creative retoucher, but one of his personal passions is shooting highly detailed macro photographs of tiny insects. While all of his macro photographs are amazing to look all, there's a particular subset that caught our eye: Reinshtein managed to capture a number of insects with water drops sitting on their top of their heads.
Earlier this year, we shared a crazy example of how you can make water drops look like they're frozen in midair simply by passing the water over a speaker and using sound vibrations to sync the drops with the frame rate of your camera. Well, Japan's largest music channel, Space Shower TV, has taken the idea and turned it into clever commercial. What you see above is ordinary footage using this trick -- there's no fancy CGI trickery, reversal during post, or high-speed camera footage involved.

Photographer Patrick Lindsay shot this beautiful photograph of gumballs seen through water drops. It's similar to the MC Escher water drop photo we shared a while ago, but is much easier to create since the drops of water aren't moving in this photo.
