You’ve probably seen chocolate-colored DSLR cameras before, but have you ever seen DSLR-shaped chocolate? The camera above was created by San Francisco-based Etsy seller Hans Chung as a gift for his friends and family. It’s a highly detailed solid chocolate replica of a Canon D60 that has a battery grip attached.
For Valentine’s Day this year, Samsung created this short film that features custom bokeh shapes shot with Samsung NX gear. They come up with some pretty creative ideas for various shapes: pop a balloon filled with glitter to create a firework look, or shoot out of a car window at night to capture spaceships flying through space! Here’s a sweet DIY project idea by Brittany Morin that’s perfect for that special day that’s right around the corner: scratch-off cards made from Polaroid pictures! Basically all you need is some acrylic paint and some dish soap. Mix the two together with a ratio of one part soap for every two parts paint and you’ll have yourself some scratch-able paint!
It’s a little to late to get this card in time for Valentine’s Day this year, but maybe this can give you some inspiration if you’re looking to create one by hand for a special photography-lover in your life. This “We Just Click” card sells for $4.50 from dudeandchick‘s Etsy store.
