Back in 2010, San Diego-based photographer Adam Elmakias launched a geeky fashionable line of gel bracelets based on various lenses. The Lens Bracelets took the web by storm, and now Elmakias is back with a new and improved “pro series” lineup of bracelets that are much more faithful representations of actual lenses by Canon, Nikon, Leica, and Zeiss. The new bracelets are based off $25K+ worth of popular cameras lenses, and are more detailed and more durable than the previous version.

Last year Levi’s teamed up with Hong Kong magazine New Monday on an exclusive denim camera strap that was included for free with an issue of the magazine. The strap was produced with the same materials used to manufacture Levi’s jeans and came in both red and black. You can find the straps for sale on eBay for around $20-$30.

Canon once sold these telephoto lens keychain flashlights in its online store for $7. They’re out of stock now, but they sometimes appear on eBay for about $15. They perform quite well in low light situations.

The lens mug craze seems to be cooling down, but now there’s another product on the market that can help you stay cool (literally): the Canon lens cooling fan. Yesterday the last certified Kodachrome processing facility — Dwayne’s Photo in Parsons, Kansas — finally stopped supporting the legendary film. They decided to create a t-shirt for mourning photo-geeks that sports the classic Kodachrome colors. If you’d like this tiny slice of Kodachrome history, you can get it for $13 over at Dwayne’s Photo.

We reported on the Nikon coffee cup that finally appeared on the web months ago, but didn’t get our hands on one until today. We did an unboxing of the Canon coffee mug and thermos back in June, so we’ll do a similar hands-on for this Nikon one. Like the Canon ones, there’s a whole bunch of places making these things (none of which are the camera companies themselves), so there might be some variation on how the thing looks depending on where you buy it from.

If you’re a die-hard Nikonian and have to get your hands on one of these babies, you can find them on eBay for anywhere between a few dollars (for auctions) and a staggering $88 for a Buy It Now listing with free shipping. Just search for the term “Nikon buckle“.
Strangely enough, a similar search for Canon buckles doesn’t return anything, leading us to conclude that Canon support isn’t as manly as Nikon support.
