Here’s a neat idea for a photo shoot: tarp surfing. This involves faking the look of surfing photographs using a giant blue tarp and a skateboarder riding across it. Have someone pull the tarp over the skateboarder and photograph him riding through the tube.

Awesome Skateboarding Tricks at 1000 Frames Per Second

Starting off Sunday on a slow motion note, this is just a downright cool 1000fps video of skateboarders doing some pretty crazy flat ground tricks (tricks so crazy many of them don’t even have established names). The video was shot using a Redlake N3 high speed camera, and the footage… well that speaks for itself.

Point-of-View Skateboarding on Steroids

Eli Stonberg created this creative video by recording skateboarder Aryeh Kraus with seven separate cameras, with six of them on Kraus or the skateboard. When they’re all viewed at the same time it’s a pretty unique visual experience. Like the splitscreen short film we shared yesterday, hopefully this one will give you a healthy dose of inspiration.
