This is going to be a big year for Canon. According to the latest camera rumors and reports from reliable sources, the company is planning to release not one, not two, but three new full-frame mirrorless EOS R cameras in 2020, including an even cheaper entry-level camera than the $1,000 EOS Rp.

Sigma Teaser Website Gets the Internet Buzzing with Speculation

It's not uncommon for photography companies to launch strange teaser campaigns that get folks wondering what the company has up its sleeve. In the past, we've seen everything from bags of walnuts to mysteriously worded ads. The latest from Sigma falls into the second category, and has the entire photographic community buzzing with speculation and excitement.

Sigma Has a Change of Heart, Won’t Ever Produce Its Own Mirrorless ILC

A couple of years ago, Sigma expressed a desire to create a mirrorless ILC of its own. And even though everybody and their mother in the camera industry seems to be jumping on the mirrorless bandwagon, Sigma instead is renegeing on that 2010 statement. In an interview with Chinese website Xitek, a Sigma manager stated that the company would never launch a mirrorless system.

Canon’s Mirrorless May Sport an APS-C Sensor and Articulating Touchscreen

Up until now, all rumors regarding Canon's upcoming mirrorless offering (which is expected to be announced officially at a special July 23rd event) have pointed towards it housing the same sensor found in the company's capable G1 X compact. This was said to be the case because another, more capable mirrorless offering has been in the works for Photokina. New rumors, however, seem to indicate that, while there is a prototype out there of a Canon mirrorless with a G1 X sensor, the official product might actually be sporting an 18MP APS-C sensor ala Canon's recent Rebel T4i.

Sony Springs a Massive Leak of NEX-F3 and A37 Photographs

Not so much a "leak" as the proverbial flood gates opening, earlier today the Indonesian website Yangcanggih released what amounts to a full gallery of both the new NEX-F3 and A37 cameras, giving Sony fanboys (and girls) plenty to get excited over. The pictures confirm many of the previous rumors: the NEX-F3 does have a pop-up flash, and the 180-degree tilting screen is also a feature; while the A37 is receiving an articulating screen as well.

Sony is due to announce a new addition to its NEX cameral line, and it looks like the first picture of that new addition has just hit the rumor mill. Sony Alpha Rumors is reporting that the NEX-F3, which will replace the NEX-C3, will be officially announced sometime next month.
