Breathtaking Wedding Photographs Make a Great Case for Eloping in Iceland

icelandwedding5

We don’t know Ohio couple Sarah and Josh personally, but we like the way they think. Because when wedding planning got to be a bit too much and they decided to elope in Iceland, they cancelled all things but one: their photographer.

They brought wedding photographer Gabe McClintock along to capture their elopement, and the photographs he left them with leave no doubt at the wisdom of their decision. Read more…

Ridiculously Thin Hand-Made Lens Leaves Pancakes Behind, Borders Crêpe Territory

There’s a good chance you’ve never heard of the company that goes by the name MS Optical, and we won’t blame you. It’s a one-man operation, run by Mr. Sadayasu Miyazaki from Honcho, Japan. But you might want to take not of them now.

Specializing in unique lens designs, MS Optical focuses on creating small pancake lenses for the Leica M Mount. But MS Optical’s latest creation leaves the ‘pancake’ title in the dust… this thing should be called a crepe lens. Read more…

There is one company that was less-than-thrilled when they saw the Leica T, however, and that company’s name is AppCam. According to AppCam, the operating system on the Leica T is almost identical to the AppCam OS… the same OS that they tried to shop out to Leica two and a half years ago. Read more…

LeicaCloudStoragePlatform

The rumor mill in the photography world is a strange one. Churning out snippet after snippet on bodies, glass, and everything in-between, it’s difficult to properly nail down what is fact and what is fiction. That’s particularly true when you’re dealing with claims like those made yesterday.

According to an article published by the French website 01net.com, Leica is working on something well out of their normal range of products and services: A cloud storage platform for photographers. Read more…
