The Beauty of the Ballet Captured in Time-Lapse and Slow Motion

The world of time-lapse photography is dominated mostly by landscape and city photography, with the occasionally astronomical time-lapse thrown in. And even though we’ve seen some spectacular examples of all three of those (just click on the links), we appreciate that the video at the top is a bit of a departure from the norm.

Fox Plunders a Dead Animal Carcass and Runs Off With the Camera Hidden Inside

Animals love cameras. It seems we can infer that much from videos and stories we’ve shared in the past. From Lions to Bears, it seems that animals are often as interesting in camera gear as they are in a free meal.

GoPro Uses DMCA to Take Down Article Comparing Its Camera with Rival

Apparently GoPro isn’t very fond of its cameras being compared to rival action cameras. The action camera pioneer has sent DigitalRev a DMCA takedown notice after the latter published an article last month comparing GoPro Hero 3 with the Sony HDR-AS15.

GoPro Unveils the Hero3: Smaller, Lighter, Faster, and 4K Resolution (Kinda)

At a special event in San Francisco tonight, GoPro launched its latest action camera: the Hero3. Compared to the Hero2 that it succeeds, the new camera is both more portable and more capable. It’s 30% smaller and 25% lighter, making it great for helmet cams and attaching to random things. The image processor inside is twice as fast, allowing the camera to shoot both video and photographs at faster frame rates.
