We never thought we’d say it, but someone finally found a DSLR that makes Pentax’s limited edition models look bland. Erle Kaasik was walking on a sidewalk in Seattle when she walked past a woman using this eye-popping Canon DSLR and 28-135mm lens that a local artist had decorated. It looks like someone mistook the camera for a cupcake or something.

Update: The artist is Wonderpuss Octopus Ink
Thanks for sending in the tip, Vibin!
Did you know that you can turn any wall magnetic by painting it with magnetic primer? Communications company M Booth did this with one of its walls, then sent out employees onto the streets of NYC with Fujifilm Instax cameras. The result is this impressive wall displaying 800 instant photos!
If you love the fact that IKEA furniture is cheap and easy to put together, but hate the fact that it’s always so plain and minimalistic, then Mykea might be the solution for you. Aside from selling pre-made decals, they also allow you to create your own custom decals from your photographs, turning your furniture into a mini-space to display your work. Price depends on the furniture, with a single panel coffee table decal starting at €12.5 (~$16.5).

If your wall needs decorating and you have a lot of time on your hands (and we mean a lot), you can try making a giant calendar for you wall with photos. All you need to do is go photo-hunting for numbers, days of the week, and filler squares. Then print out the photos as squares and arrange them on your wall based on the current month.
While shooting the images and printing them out is a lot of work (and a lot of fun), updating the calendar every month is what will be extremely time-consuming in the long run. However, if you’re up for it, this is a fun and creative way to spice up your wall with photo awesomeness.
