There are certain photographs subjects that you often find while browsing the photo sharing service Instagram. Examples might include feet, the foam art in cups of coffee, old doors, and duck-face self-portraits shot using a bathroom mirror. CollegeHumor released a parody music video yesterday that collects a whole bunch of these stereotypes into song.

We don’t know how they do it, but College Humor’s sketch videos often have famous celebrities making fools of themselves in the name of comedy. Above is a parody infomercial they released today featuring actor Patrick Wilson. He states that prior to his acting career, he worked as a stock photography model and was featured in over 133,000 stock images.

If you’ve spent any amount of time in mom and pop Chinese restaurants — especially around college campuses — then you’re probably seen the strangely colored and faded food photographs used in the menus and displayed on the walls. These photographs look anything but appetizing, yet you can find them everywhere there’s cheap Chinese food.
For those of you who understand exactly what we’re referring to, CollegeHumor created this humorous parody Photoshop tutorial that discusses an imaginary new “Chinese Food Tool” — a suite of tools that’s designed to easily turn any nice-looking photo of Chinese food into one that will fit right in at a small Chinese restaurant. The tagline: “Now you can display MSG in CMYK.”

The stories are often the same — you spend some time saving up money for the perfect piece of gear that you’ve spent hours reading reviews about and comparing. You finally order it, and spend some days checking the tracking information every few minutes to see if your package is still traveling according to schedule. Finally, the big day arrives, and you eagerly stay fixed at home, unwilling to step out for a minute or take a shower lest the UPS delivery person arrives. After something forces you to step out of the house briefly, you arrive home and are crushed to discover a “failed delivery” slip affixed to your door.
