Hear that sound? That means it’s time for another giveaway!

This week we’re giving away two (2) camera bags designed for women by Jo Totes valued between $79 and $94 each. These bags are designed to help you organize both equipment and everyday life items, and come in a number of colors and styles.

To enter, all you need to do is:

Tell us your favorite camera lens

There are two ways to send us your answer, and doing both methods will give you 2 entries in the contest, and thus double the chance the win!

  1. Leave your response as a comment
  2. Tweet your response, and include the following link to this post anywhere in the tweet: http://j.mp/ppjototes

As long as the link appears in the tweet, you’ll be automatically entered in the contest.

This contest will end in two days on Sunday September 5th, 2010. We’ll randomly pick the two winners using random.org and update this post. Good luck!

Update: This giveaway is open to international readers as well!

Also, feel free to enter if you’re a dude and there’s some female photog in your life!

Update: This giveaway is now over! We had 238 entries via comment and 145 entries via Twitter for 383 entries total. Here are the two randomly selected winners:

#108: Rachel Kumar (@rachelkmr)

My favorite is the Canon 50mm f/1.8 – lightweight, and superb in low light with no flash! :)

#46: Rebecca Gutwin (@beccakbecca)

24-70mm. I rarely take it off my camera.

Congratulations! Please email us at [email protected] to claim your prize!

Thanks for participating in our contest everyone!

A big thanks to Jo Totes for providing the prizes for this giveaway!

Neat Inflatable Bag for Safely Moving Gear from Place to Place

The Kata ABS-HD is a new kind of bag that starts out the size of a book, and can be inflated to become a carry-on bag for protecting full size camcorders. What’s nifty about this idea is that when not in use, the bag is extremely compact and can be stowed away with your other luggage. The bag is designed specifically for stowing expensive equipment safely in the overhead bins on planes, so the bag doesn’t come with a lot of bells and whistles.

Inflating is done with a built-in tube and takes about a minute, and the bag can be carried using either the handle or an included shoulder strap. Though the price hasn’t been announced yet, the bag should hit the market in the near future.

Cloak: The Always Ready Camera Bag

The Cloak Bag is a minimalistic camera bag with a pretty unique feature: it allows you to photograph without removing your camera.

The bag features a zip-open bottom that can be rolled in on itself to adjust the height for various lenses, and slits in the sides allow you to use the camera as you normally would.

To secure the camera to the bag, you replace your camera strap with a special strap that attaches to the bag using velcro. This means the bag may not be compatible with special straps (i.e. an R-Strap) you might use.

You can order one yourself for $49 directly from their website.

I think the idea is pretty neat, though you might look a bit funny holding a bag up to your face. Perhaps you can pretend you’re drinking out of it…
