Some fashion photographers are known for hyper-conceited attitudes and nasty personalities — traits that aren’t usually shared by infant photographers. What if they were? This humorous sketch by Paulilu Mixtape is titled “Anne Geddes: Beneath the Diaper”, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at famous baby photographer Anne Geddes in action.
If you’re ever photographing a baby that’s sitting on anything above ground level, make sure you have a spotter near the baby at all times. This video shows why.
Here’s a short one minute time-lapse video that took nine months to create. It creatively documents a pregnancy and announces a new baby girl. We shared a very similar one last year.
Parisian photographer Malo has fun portrait series titled “Un jour, mon enfant tu seras” (One Day You Will Be My Child) that imagines what a baby’s future career might be.

Photographer Rachel Hulin has a cute project titled The Flying Series that consists of photos of her infant son Henry flying. Hulin tells TIME,
Speaking to some of the unusual body positions of her flying offspring, Hulin said, “I never throw him, and I never move him into a place in the frame that he wasn’t in to begin with. I like Henry to fly the way he feels like it, I never pose him in a specific way. Sometimes he’s graceful and sometimes he’s a little hunchback. I think telling you more would ruin it.” [#]
While she’s keeping quiet on her technique, which she says is “more subtraction than addition”, we think it’s similar to Pat David’s bouncing baby technique that we featured a while back.

An earlier post here on PetaPixel showcased a wonderful image of a flock of cell phones and the method used to create it. In a rather snarky comment, I said to get back to me when they started tossing babies, and linked to my daughter merrily jumping in her crib with her toys. Mike was kind enough to approach me about writing up a small walk-through on how I created my image, and who can honestly turn down a chance to show off their baby daughter looking so cute?
