An ASMR Video for Photographers

ASMR videos have exploded in popularity over the past few years. Capitalizing on this trend, photographer Noe Alonzo of South Korea made this 6-minute tongue-in-cheek video titled “Camera ASMR” with sounds photography lovers will appreciate (you may need to turn up your sound for the full effect).

“Deep soothing relaxing camera ASMR photography sounds to help your fragile photographer ego fall asleep,” Alonzo writes. “The camera sounds that will give you the tingles and jingles to a deep slumber.”

If you’re not familiar with ASMR, the acronym stands for “autonomous sensory meridian response.” It’s the tingling sensation people get on their scalp, neck, and upper spine when triggered by specific kinds of sounds (and visuals) — things like whispering, rain, scratching, tapping, crunching, crinkling, crumpling, and more.

If you’re in need of some fuzzy feelings and relaxation, perhaps Alonzo’s whispers and camera sounds are just what you need. Or not.
