Photographer Steve McCurry Was Inside the Stade de France During the Paris Attacks

Renowned “Afghan Girl” photojournalist Steve McCurry was at Ground Zero in New York City on September 11th, 2001, and he was also in the Stade de France last Friday when the terrorist attacks were being carried out in Paris. In the interview with CBS above, McCurry shares some photos of the chaos and describes how he thought he was going to die.

“It reminded me of 9/11,” McCurry says.
