This Selfie Stick is Arm Shaped to Make You Look Less Like a Loner

If you’re already turned off by the idea of ordinary selfie sticks, you might not want to read on. The “Selfie Arm” is a new selfie stick design that adds an arm to your self-portraits, making them look like photos of you taken by someone who loves you.

The prototype was created by artists Justin Crowe and Aric Snee out of lightweight and portable fiberglass.

It’s a problem designed to solve a “quintessential problem”: “nobody wants to look alone while they mindlessly snap pictures of themselves.” By fashioning the stick to look like an arm, you instantly look 100% less lonely in your photos.

The project is meant to be “a direct commentary on the growing selfie stick phenomenon, and the constant, gnawing need for narcissistic internet validation.”
