Popular Lighting Gear Maker Photoflex Closing Shop After 30 Years in Business

Sand Bag Logo [Converted]

Photoflex, a popular manufacturer of lighting gear and camera accessories, has unexpectedly announced that it will be closing its business that has been in operation for three decades.

Among the products offered by Photoflex prior to this closure were reflectors, softboxes, umbrellas, stands, flashes, constant lights, and more.

Reasons for the closure were not given, but we’re hearing that the business was struggling as of late, and that they’ve been handing out layoff notices to employees in recent days.

The news of the closure came in the form of an announcement image posted to the Photoflex homepage.
